Aerospace
Lightweight, high-integrity magnesium and aluminum parts for flight applications.

Aerospace programs push the limits of strength-to-weight. KingShip delivers the low-porosity, high-integrity magnesium and aluminum components that help flight structures shed mass while holding their performance envelope.
Lightweight aerospace components#
Flight structures demand the lowest possible mass without sacrificing integrity. Our aluminum die casting and magnesium die casting processes produce thin-wall, light-weight brackets, housings and structural parts that trim kilograms from airframes and assemblies while keeping stiffness and fatigue life where they matter most.
Magnesium die casting applications#
Magnesium is the lightest structural metal, and magnesium die casting lets us form complex, mass-critical aerospace parts in AZ91D and AM60B at high volume. Typical applications include brackets, enclosures, seat structures and actuator housings, where every gram saved improves fuel burn and payload.
Semi-solid rheocasting applications#
For the most demanding flight-critical parts, semi-solid rheocasting delivers a fine, uniform microstructure with very low porosity — far beyond conventional high-pressure die casting. That translates into higher fatigue strength and reliable performance for structural components, levers and load-bearing brackets.
Aluminum casting capability#
Our aluminum die casting capability covers A356 and other aerospace-grade alloys for parts needing higher strength or corrosion resistance. From prototyping through qualified production, we hold tight tolerances and repeatable quality across the program lifecycle.
Quality inspection#
Every aerospace part is verified with real-time X-ray porosity detection and full dimensional inspection. Tight process controls and statistical monitoring keep flight-critical components within specification, lot after lot.
OEM manufacturing#
As an OEM manufacturing partner, KingShip supports aerospace programs from design-for-manufacture and prototype through volume production, applying the disciplined process control that flight applications require.
